As a part of the Club’s preparations for the Ground re-development the Eastern Car Park with an entrance from Ochiltree Road will be open for our first home fixture against AFC Croydon on Saturday 15th August.
This will be a test run to assess how many spaces can be offered initially before completion of the new Car Park when the re-development is undertaken.
We have already undertaken an initial Travel Survey with the assistance of the Hastings United Independent Supporters Club and thank them and all who participated in the Survey for some very helpful and useful data. A further Survey will be undertaken at another home fixture in September or October and a date will be published on the Club’s social media platforms.
The existing Car Park has become considerably overgrown after many years of closure and will only be able to accommodate a very limited number of vehicles at this stage, probably between 20 – 30 but this will improve the on-street parking options for many and improve the match day traffic impact on local residents on nearby streets/roads.
There some important matters to keep in mind if you intend to help with this test run and these are as follows –
- Please remember that the Stewards in the Car Park are Club Volunteers and they are there to help both you and the Club with this important test.
- Please follow the directions given by the Stewards when directed where and how to park so that everyone is safe and there is no difficulty in entering or leaving the car park
- There will be no charge for using the car park
- The car park will open at 12.45 and will close at 14.45. It will re-open to allow exit at 16.45.
- Cars parked will be entirely at owners risk.

Access to the Ground will be either – by leaving the car park into Ochiltree Road and then down Elphinstone Road or by walking adjacent to the HUSSC and along the driveway to Elphinstone Road and then to the main entrance. At this time there will not be an entrance from the drive but one is planned for the re-development.
