Hastings United Retain FA 3 Star Accreditation

Hastings United Football Club are proud to confirm they have retained FA 3 Star Accreditation, the highest award from England Football, recognising excellence in grassroots football provision.

The accreditation highlights the club’s commitment to clear, inclusive pathways from youth to senior football for boys, girls and disability players, and reflects the outstanding contribution of the volunteers who make this possible both on and off the pitch.

Hastings United is about far more than its men’s and women’s first teams. The club supports over 500 players across boys’, girls’, disability and walking football, offering opportunities for ages 3 through to 65+ to enjoy the game in a safe, welcoming and progressive environment.

Even without local facilities, the majority of our volunteers, coaches, ground staff, players, parents and carers regularly travel out of the borough across to Bexhill, Rye, Battle and Robertsbridge to make it happen. With over 500 players aged 3 to 65+ participating every week, the club continues to be a key pillar within the local community.

Often described as the football equivalent of an MOT, FA Accreditation requires clubs to meet rigorous standards each year, ensuring coaching, safeguarding and administrative structures are in place to support player development across all sections of the game.

The club would like to thank its volunteers, coaches and ground staff for their continued dedication, which has once again secured this prestigious recognition.
