Hastings United are delighted to welcome Ollie Black back to The ‘U’s.
A product of the club, the versatile defender returns to The Pilot Field following spells with Worthing and Folkestone Invicta.
Having made over 150 appearances in Hastings United colours, Black was a key member of the side that secured the club’s Isthmian League South East Division title, and his return adds experience, leadership and quality to Ronnie Dolan’s squad.
Ollie Black said: “I’m delighted to be back at my hometown club and can’t wait to get going. It’s a club that means a lot to me, and I’m looking forward to helping bring better times back for the supporters.”
Manager Ronnie Dolan said: “As soon as I got the manager’s job at Hastings United, Ollie was one of my first phone calls. He had started pre-season with Folkestone, but we’ve stayed in touch throughout
“We had a really good conversation about what he wants to do and what I want us to achieve on the pitch. Ollie will be a key part of that. He can see what we’re building at this football club and is excited to be part of it. I’m absolutely delighted to welcome OB back to Hastings United.”
