Isthmian League - South East Division, 2020/2021 history
Hastings Performance
After the curtailment and nullification of the 2019-2020 season the players, managers and fans were all excited to finish what was started the season before, promotion to the Isthmian League Premier Division.
Then the dreaded coronavirus had a massive second wave in November and December meaning further national lockdowns and the halting of grassroots football once again.
Having only played 7 games in the league drawing 2 and winning 5 Hastings United would sit atop the throne before the season was yet again curtailed and nulled for a second season in a row.
Hastings would reach the FA Cup 2nd Qualifying round against Ebbsfleet United, a team 2 leagues above us but give them a good fight to a 2-2 draw and a loss of 4-1 on penalties.
Hastings would reach the first round of the FA Trophy away to Aveley where Hastings United would, whilst being the better team, lose 1-0, their final competition game of the 2020-2021 season.
We look to the ending of lockdown and the resumption of our conquest to reach the Isthmian League Premier Division from August 2021.
