Hastings United Football Club are delighted to welcome the signing of striker, Chinedu McKenzie.
McKenzie (28) was a notable member of the Tonbridge Angels squad who got promoted to the National League South and will add further firepower to The ‘U’s frontline.
Chinedu McKenzie: “I’m excited to be signing for Hastings United, the club is moving in the right direction, and I am glad to be on board. I appreciate the gaffer for giving this opportunity to me and I hope to pay the club back with goals. I am looking forward to meeting the fans tonight as I know the atmosphere at The Pilot Field is the envy of others.”
Gary Elphick: “We welcome Chinedu, a striker in his prime years with good experience. He has scored goals wherever he has been, and I’ve also shared a dressing room with him as well. He is a team player with a good attitude and will add hugely to our attacking options.”
Billy Wood: “A natural striker with a keen eye for goal, we are looking to get the absolute best out of him, giving him a club that he can look to settle with and claim some more silverware along the way. The supporters have been crying out for new signings, but we are not a club that just makes them for the sake of it, or to bolster the ranks. Gary has worked hard to identify the targets he wants, and we are glad to bring one permanent in and one loan with De Niro Pinto joining us from neighbours Eastbourne Borough.”
McKenzie is available for selection tonight vs Potters Bar Town.
