Hastings United are delighted to confirm the retention of Blair Hamilton.
Hamilton, who will spend her third season at The ‘U’s has played a pivotal role in the team’s rise being part of one of the best defensive records at the level across the country.
Blair Hamilton: “I’m delighted to extend my stay. At the end of last season, there were many high-pressure games that you want to be involved in and a lot of concentration was on those games, unfortunately, we didn’t get what we as a group wanted. I then had a seven-week break from football, and I really thought about where I wanted to play football next and I spoke to a lot of people about it, and everybody said to play as long as you can, in a place and environment that you enjoy and more importantly, a place that makes you feel wanted. After the break, I tried different environments to help my decision, and my thoughts continually pointed me towards Hastings, and that Hastings ticked all the boxes above, The Pilot Field, the squad, the ambition, and more importantly the fans, so here we are”

Just like the rest of us Blair was unhappy we didn’t get the promotion we strived for but the fact she is sticking with us, confident and determined to push forward with our targets for the season ahead.”
