Hastings United Football Club are delighted to announce the retention of Lauren Sharp extending her stay at The ‘U’s for a third season.
Sharp was part of the SCWGFL Premier Champions team and has made over 30 competitive appearances for The ‘U’s.
Lauren Sharp: “I’m happy to be committing myself for the third consecutive season at Hastings United. Last season we were extremely close to achieving our targets, however we fell ever so slightly short. I know that as a collective the team and I are hungrier than ever to push forward and achieve our goals. I am already buzzing to be back in pre-season!”
Billy Wood: “Sharpy is one of our originals, turning up to the first open trials and she has been with us ever since. Few players from the first competitive match day squad are with us now but she has consistently rose to the challenge in a competitive environment. A real team player and someone who is important both on and off the pitch. I am delighted she is staying with us for another year and look forward to seeing her progress again.”
