Hastings United are happy to announce, Women’s captain Rebecca Relf has committed to the club for the 2022/23 season.
Relf who has been with club since the formation of the the Womens team in 2020 will be with us for her third season at the club.
Rebecca Relf: “Having been with Hastings since it’s development two seasons ago, and leading the team since, it was an easy decision for me to stay. We didn’t end the season the way we had planned but I know the girls will work hard in pre-season to put ourselves in the best position we can! I’m excited for another season with the ever-developing squad we have. COYU!”
Billy Wood: “Relf has been with us since the beginning and has been a very important player both on and off the pitch for the team. Consistent in approach and takes the task at hand seriously, as captain not only is that important, but it sets the tone. Not only did she contribute to one of the best defences in the area with clean sheets galore but also chipped in with some important goals. I am delighted she is staying as we look to improve where we can on last season.”
