Hastings United are delighted to announce a further one-year agreement for combative midfielder Jack Dixon, extending his stay at The ‘U’s till the end of the 2021/22 season.
Jack is the last member of the team who made the FA Cup 3rd Round in the 2012/13 season.
“I am really happy to announce that I’ll be staying at a club I am really proud to represent and play my part in taking it forward. It’s been a tough 12 months for us all, but we have a lot to be excited about going forward with Hastings United. We have a tight group of players and staff who have had two promotions taken away from us. I am sure my teammates agree we have some unfinished business to address come August. I can’t wait to be back at The TGS Pilot Field, up the ‘U’s!”
Chris Agutter (Manager):
“I am pleased to be working with Jack again, an important member of what has been a successful team. Jack is without doubt in the top three box-to-box midfielders at this level, he is a local lad and a top person, which is the most important thing.”
Billy Wood (CEO):
“Jack Dixon is synonymous with Hastings United. Both on and off the pitch Jack represents Hastings United with pride, something you cannot buy. I am sure he is looking forward like most are to a full season ahead and we know on the pitch he will help the tempo of the team and add important goals along the way, just like he has done over the past few years.”
