We are delighted to announce the signing of Goalkeeper Blair Hamilton, who joins our Women’s team from table-topping Montpelier Villa AFC Women’s.
Blair Hamilton: “I am very excited to be here at Hastings United but firstly, I would like to thank Montpelier Villa for letting me get this done. I spoke with the Chairman who sold me on Hastings’ ambitions to climb up the women’s football pyramid, which matches my own personal ambition. I have joined The ‘U’s to be successful and the first step is to win the league and get promotion. Let’s go!”
Billy Wood: “Constant progression is important and signing Blair is another example of that. Blair’s journey in football is admirable and we believe we are right home for her to continue to add to her personal achievements. We are preparing for the return to league action next month and it’s vital that we retain our squad but look to add a bit more quality to it to get us over the line to make our first season a huge success. Blair choosing to join Hastings United shows not only are we competitive on the pitch, but off the pitch we are engaging, supportive and progressive football club, looking to truly create a club for all in our community.”
