Hastings United Football Club in conjunction with East Sussex College and Skiltek are proud to launch a Full Time Women’s Football and Education programme for ages 16-19.
Alongside full time football training, players will be able to choose an array of A-Level or BTEC courses to study. This programme is available for new or existing college students and welcome applicants.
The programme, which will start September 2021 will be the first full-time women’s programme for both Hastings United Football Club and East Sussex College, complimenting the Men’s programme which has grown in the last five years with players receiving trials at professional football clubs including Leicester City, Newcastle United, Aston Villa, Brentford and as announced yesterday Benn Ward transferring to Premier League Burnley after breaking into the Hastings United Men’s first team.
Since 2019, Hastings United Football Club has pushed Women’s football to the top of the agenda with the introduction of the Women’s team for the 2020/21 season, entering the Women’s FA Cup for the first time and competing in the Sussex Women’s and Girl’s Football League Premier Division. This month we have announced the addition to recruitment of a 16+ development team and an Under 16s team for School Years 10 & 11.
