We are proud to officially welcome Caitlin Tewkesbury as she joins The ‘U’s Women’s team for the 2020/21 season.
Tewkesbury, 18 a Bexhill College student and an ambitious attacking player joins us from South East Counties Womens Premier Division club Eastbourne United.
Caitlin on her signing said, “I’m really happy to join Hastings United’s new Women’s team and play for my home town. It’s been great getting to know the girls and the staff in training, I can’t wait to get on the pitch with my new teammates and see what the future holds.”
Amy Sinden, Head Coach added, “I am pleased to have Caitin on board with us, her attitude and determination to get into our starting 11 hasn’t gone unnoticed in training. Tewkes will keep defending teams on their toes with her pace and power, she will be a huge asset for how we want to play.”
Billy Wood, CEO said, “Caitlin is a great energy already around the club, the coaches shared some data from the sessions and her speed and agility are fantastic. A local girl, currently studying and playing football is only going to benefit the growth of Women’s football locally and you have to praise the coaches who have worked with her to this point.
