Hastings United are happy to officially welcome Naomi Corrigan to The ‘U’s as she joins our Women’s team for the 2020/21 season.
Corrigan, 21 is a former Brighton and Hove Albion Academy prospect joins us after a short stint for Hollington Lionesses’ after impressing in trials. A technically sound midfielder, Naomi will look to pull the strings as The ‘U’s debut in the SCWGFL Premier Division this season.
Naomi Corrigan said on signing for the club, “I am really happy to be part of this Hastings United squad, training has been excellent and I am looking forward to getting stuck into the season. There is such a buzz and I am excited to see what we can achieve.”
Amy Sinden, Head Coach added, “I am really happy to get Nay to commit to Hastings United and she will be a great asset both on and off the pitch for the club. She is a local girl and I don’t doubt her commitment on assisting this club achieve it’s goals, whilst technically gifted she is pushing herself to be in maximum condition for the start of the season and I believe she will be a favourite with The ‘U’s faithful.”
Billy Wood, CEO said, “It’s been an absolute pleasure getting to know the players joining us to start the Women’s revolution at The Pilot Field and Naomi adds a bit of extra class to the mix. She will be a fantastic addition to Sinden’s squad and the coaches are certainly putting her through her paces, welcome to Hastings!”
