Hastings United is pleased to announce that Kenny Pogue has committed to the Club for the 2019-20 season.
Following successful spells with Sevenoaks Town and fellow playoff semi-finalists Hayward’s Heath Kenny makes a return to his hometown Club.
Kenny commented, ‘Delighted to sign back for my home town club and be part of what Aggy has done here……it’s a special club with the best fans in the league so I’m looking forward to helping the team achieve good things this year!’
First Team coach Pete Heritage added, ‘You only had to see the reaction amongst the group when Kenny walked into the home dressing room to see what a positive step this is. Ken is a completely different type of forward to our other 3 in terms of style and strengths which will allow us to mix up our game to greater effect, the opening goal against Hollington was a prime example of this where we were able to play more direct into Ken who brought Davide into the game quickly who then did the rest.’
