Charity Partner for 2019/20 football season

Hastings United Football Club is very pleased to announce that is has reached agreement with St Michael’s Hospice for the organisation to be its charity partner for 2019/20 football season.

Club Chairman Dave Nessling commented, ‘We as a Club are delighted to partner with St Michael’s Hospice, an organisation that provides a vital service to people in Hastings & St. Leonards and the surrounding area. Many families within our town will have had dealings with the Hospice in connection with loved ones and will have seen the care and compassion that St Michael’s Hospice takes great pride in providing. We hope that we can be of assistance to the Hospice in their vital fund raising activities such assistance being part of our own drive to continue to provide support within the community’.

Darran Penfold of St Michael’s Hospice said: “We are extremely grateful to be chosen by Hastings United Football Club and Academy as its Charity of the Year. We are very much looking forward to working together over the coming season to raise essential funds and awareness for the specialist palliative care services that we provide.”
