Hastings United is thrilled to announce that flying winger Lanre Azeez has committed to the Club for the 2019-20 season.
Lanre played a significant part in last seasons promotion chase….in-particularly performing strongly towards the back end of the campaign which included him producing the assist of the season with a quite brilliant solo run in the Playoff Semi-Final.
On re-signing Lanre commented, ‘Happy to be back for another season, had a stop start season personally so really want to push on and help the Club to go one better this time around!! Our hard work continues.’
The Gaffer added, ‘Lanre reflects exactly what I believe in in terms of the type of player that needs to play for Hastings United FC…honest, humble and hardworking, add to that him being one of the most talented and capable players that I’ve had the privilege to work with makes this piece of business one of our most satisfying.’
