Hastings United football Festival Update

Hastings United Academy held its first Football Festival at The Pilot Field last weekend and it was a great success!

Over 40 teams and 400 players from Sussex, Kent, Essex, Surrey and London packed into The Pilot Field and competed against each other over the 3 day event with some excellent teams and individuals on show.

U12 Winners – Allstars Soccer
U13 Winners – Eastbourne Town Youth
U14 Winners – Hastings United Academy
U15 Winners – Pro Soccer Academy
U16 Winners – Ebbsfleet United
U18 Winners – Ballers Academy

Hastings United Director of Football Dean White said “ We were delighted with the how the event went! It was great to see so many aspiring young footballers enjoying the competitive edge that the Festival had. The feedback we have got back from the clubs that attended has been really positive and the club can be proud of the Football showcase that was put on by the Academy “

The Academy is looking to build on the success on this year’s Festival and the planning for the next tournament has already commenced to ensure the 2020 tournament is an even bigger show piece for community to enjoy!
