On behalf of everyone at Hastings United FC we would like to thank all those who kindly donated presents to our Have a Hastings Heart 2018 appeal.
We received around 70 presents for all ages for the Kipling children’s ward at the Conquest Hospital in Hastings and also the children’s ward at Eastbourne District General Hospital.
On Thursday afternoon Andrew Brown our First Team Coach, along with Ben Cornelius, Dane Martin and several players including Tom Climpson, Davide Rodari, Charlie Curran, Jamie Fielding, Kian Moynes, Finnley Page, Ollie Weeks plus Club officials Dave Ormerod and Hayley Clout visited the children’s ward to deliver presents and put a lot of smiles on the children’s faces who will sadly be having to spend Christmas in hospital.
We consider it important as a Club to be involved with our local hospital and we will continue to provide fund raising support for specific hospital appeals.
We will also continue to support projects in the local community where we feel this is possible.
