The Club is pleased to announce that young midfielder Adam Lovatt is heading to Leeds United FC for a 5-day trial commencing on 3rd December 2018.
Adam has generated a lot of interest from numerous clubs due to his consistent and improving performances during both the second half of the 2017/18 season and in this current season to date.
Adam is a great lad and has proved a model semi-professional since signing a contract with the Club. United Manager Chris Agutter said, ‘Adam has developed both his stature and game considerably since he was promoted to the first team squad and will thoroughly deserve the chance at some point to move on into full time professional football’.
All at the Club wish him well in his forthcoming trial and are very pleased that one of its young players has attracted the attention of a club of Leeds United’s calibre.
The Club feels it is certainly on the right path in terms of developing young players via its football academy managed by Skiltek and through its education and football partnership scheme with Hastings College.
