The FPF was launched at the match against Shoreham yesterday and the Club is pleased to be able to advise that £298 was contributed in collections and donations. The Club would like to thank all who contributed which resulted in the FPF getting off to a positive start.
The Club advise that all FPF monies generated will be placed in a separate bank account. An update will be provided to fans periodically in terms of what the balance of the FPF stands at. The monies accrued will be used on player matters manager Chris Agutter wishes to pursue, where he believes the use of the FPF fund will be of assistance. The FPF will not be used to support the wage budget set by the Club.
The Club’s commercial staff are working on ways in which money might be generated for the FPF. News on this work will be released in due course.
Once again many thanks to all who contributed yesterday.
