Hastings v Lewes Boxing day 2016. 3-0 win, 700 odd crowd and if I remember correctly, a great free kick from Frannie Collin to open the scoring. I knew him as a player from following Dover when my nephews were at the academy so it was great to see him at the pilot field. From that day Laura and I went more and more often… and here we are!

First game as PA – Sussex senior Cup v Crawley last November, a 4-3 win on pens. My main memory is realising how gloomy the far side of the pitch is from the box and the relief of actually playing the goal music when we won the shootout. We cleaned the glass next game!

A leftfield choice but the sheer elation of Tom’s last minute headed winner at Sittingbourne during the promotion run in is right up there. Windy, a bobbly pitch, a gritty below par performance but the team never gave up. It was a moment when many of us thought “were gonna be ok”. Sandwiched between away wins at Ashford and Cray, it was a really important result i think.
