HUFC Off-Field Staff Update

The Club can announce that Glyn White has left his post(s) as the U23s Development Squad Manager and First Team Coach, and will be replaced by current First Team Assistant Manager Andrew Brown who will be assisted by former Hastings United player and ex-Rusthall Manager Steve Sands.

On the changes First Team Manager Chris Agutter said, ‘I’d like to place on record my thanks to Glyn for all his hard work and efforts-he did a fantastic job in facilitating the progress of numerous players from the U23s into the First Team.....players such as Ansu, Davide, and Adam Lovatt have all been positively impacted by Glyn and I can’t thank him enough. Glyn also played a huge part in the First Teams great run at the end of the season where he was a huge help in the dugout on a match-day.

On Glyn’s replacements, the Gaffer added, ‘Browny is my right-hand man, knows exactly how I work, is an exceptional thinker, is very hardworking himself and as always and most importantly is a good person-therefore the continuity from First Team down in terms of expectations and environment have only been reinforced. ‘Sandsy’ will assist Browny with the U23s as well as joining the First Team staff, he is experienced at the level, has an affinity with the Club and again is the right type of character-a great role model for our younger players.’
