'I Played at Hastings United for Leatherhead U21’s a couple of season’s ago, scored a couple of goals and so had fond memories of the Club, especially the pitch, which was top drawer even then in the middle of winter!

I stepped up that same season to Leatherhead First Team which is where I first worked with and played for Steve Sallis who assisted Jimmy Bullard, both I absolutely loved working with and am thankful for giving me my first crack at First Team football.

This season was a frustrating one at Leatherhead, to be honest, First Team opportunities in my preferred position were limited, so when Chris, Steve and Hastings United came knocking it wasn't a difficult decision. I was under contract at Leatherhead so a loan deal was discussed however I decided that it would be better to come off contract and show commitment to a new Club.

I was aware of Chris's plans and after speaking to Steve I knew Hastings United would be a great fit, an ambitious Club with a young vibrant team which would give me the best opportunity to play and develop in my favoured position.

It’s been a bit of a whirlwind time but it’s been a great start, the staff are class and the lads are a great bunch so I'm looking forward to my football again at Hastings United, as well as looking forward to scoring more goals that'll help us move forward!'.
