The 2017/18 season sees the Academy continue to go from strength to strength both on and off the grass as we look to build on what was a positive first year.

With the progression of Tom Climpson, Sonny Dullaway and Davide Rodari into the first team squad we are able to demonstrate a clear pathway for talented young footballers who are hungry to succeed whilst offering them and supporting them with an academic programme with our education partner Sussex Coast College Hastings.

Many of last seasons successful U19 team have be promoted into the Development Squad in the Bostik U23 League with a promising fresh intake of players making up a new look U19 team who will continue to compete and WIN in the National Youth Alliance League on Wednesday afternoons. Both these sides have had a great start.

Our fulltime Football programme for 16-19 year olds that is delivered by our coaching partner Skiltek, has started and with the training sessions and games being headed up by First Team manager and UEFA A Licensed coach Chris Agutter we feel that the opportunity for young local players to develop has never been better.

We have added a further 6 teams to the academy this season in the Youth Development Phase with groups now playing right through from U12 to U16's. Keep a look out on the Kent Youth League and Crowborough and District Youth League websites, as all teams have had a very impressive strong start.

In addition we added a new U18 team that competes in the Kent Youth League and offers the opportunity for some of our stronger U16's the option of playing against older players as we prepare them for U19/U23 and First Team Football when they leave school.

We have regular updates of all fixtures, results and up to date news on all thing Academy on or visit us on Facebook @hastingsunitedacademy or Twitter @hufcfa.
